Western United can confirm a venue change for its fixture on 12 January 2021 against Wellington Phoenix.
The round 3 match, which was originally scheduled for Mars Stadium in Ballarat, will now be held at GMHBA Stadium in Geelong.
It is the Club’s aim to bring football back to as many fans as possible and with COVID-19 crowd restrictions still in place, the Club is working with Ballarat City Council and Football Australia to schedule the Ballarat Mars Stadium match later in the season, when hopefully restrictions on attendance have eased.
A new date to be played at Mars Stadium will be announced later in the season when restrictions on attendances are eased.
The venue change means that United’s first four home games will be at GMHBA Stadium, setting up a huge summer of A-League football in Geelong.
The easiest way for fans to watch the action live is by becoming a member.
Adult memberships begin at just $37, kids just $15. Click here to become a member of the team for the west.
