Western United will play three home games within 10 days as the latest fixture changes were announced by the APL on Friday.
The league’s ever evolving schedule means that Western United will host the Newcastle Jets at AAMI Park in Melbourne on Monday, April 26.
The game will come just days after the club returns from a week-long trip to Tasmania where the Green and Black will go up against the Central Coast Mariners on April 17 and Wellington Phoenix on April 22.
“It’s a tight turnaround but that’s reflective of the season we’re in,” Western United CEO Chris Pehlivanis said.
“This match will be the last home game in Melbourne until mid-May and so while AAMI Park on a Monday night is a tough ask for our fans in the West, especially families, we encourage all of our fans to get behind us as we push hard to make the finals.”
Western United has also been scheduled to play Brisbane Roar away on Wednesday, May 5.
