Western United heads further west from this Saturday to play two pre-season friendlies in one of their new homes, Ballarat.
This Saturday the team will take on Adelaide United before facing reigning A-League champions Sydney FC the following Friday (Grand Final Eve public holiday). Both matches will be held at Morshead Park, as part of the ‘Festival of Football’.
Ballarat fans are encouraged to purchase their Western United membership ahead of Saturday’s match, with all Western United members getting free entry to both friendlies. The day will be family friendly with kids activities and players to meet – plus, for the first time fans will be able to purchase Western United’s inaugural season kits.
Western United will play four home matches in Ballarat during the 2019/20 Hyundai A-League season, including a Good Friday clash with Victorian rivals Melbourne City.
