On the eve of the new Hyundai A-League season, Western United Football Club is proud to announce Sportsbet has joined the club as its exclusive sports wagering partner.
Western United is the first Hyundai A-League club, and currently the only professional sporting club in Australia, that Sportsbet has chosen as its partner.
Western United CEO Chris Pehlivanis was delighted to have Sportsbet join the club’s corporate family.
“Our ability to attract Sportsbet as a partner is testament to Western United’s progressive approach and innovative business model.
“We are delighted to have Australia’s largest online bookmaker supporting Western United in this our historic first season,” Pehlivanis said.
Sportsbet is excited by Western United’s potential on the pitch and the region’s growth off it, with Western Melbourne set to exceed 1.8 million people by 2031.
And with the development of a boutique, football-specific stadium and entertainment precinct in Tarneit to come, Sportsbet is delighted to have partnered with such a growth brand as Western United.
“We are extremely impressed with what the Western United group is doing for football and their vision and plans for the future,” said Sportsbet’s Chief Marketing Officer, Mark Migliorini.
Western United plays its historic first-ever official game on Sunday in Round 1 of the Hyundai A-League away to Wellington Phoenix.
