Prizes on offer for the best fan posters at Western United Hobart opener

Western United fans

Western United is calling on the kids of Tassie to put their design skills to the test and create their best fan posters ahead of Saturday’s Isuzu UTE A-League Men blockbuster between our boys and Western Sydney Wanderers.

After the match, some of the boys will pick the best posters for spot prizes of Western United merchandise or even something directly from the players!

Fans young and old have been getting increasingly more creative in designing special posters for footballers across the world, as seen in the English Premier League and at the FIFA World Cup.

Now, it’s Hobart’s turn to show the best fan posters!

We recommend green or black paper, of course, but there is no limit on the possibilities for what you can add to your poster. It can have a funny message, the name and number of your favourite player, some photos or even some hand-drawn or painted images.

Last year, North Hobart Oval was sparkling with Green and Black colour around the entire stadium, and we want to take it up to another level this year.

The Western United boys will be back in town, spearheaded by superstar talent in Brazilian Daniel Penha and Aussie Young guns Angus Thurgate and Noah Botic, with Socceroos legend John Aloisi at the helm.

Bring your poster to the match at North Hobart Oval this Saturday, gates open 4pm, kick-off is at 5pm, and get behind the Green and Black in a huge game against the Wanderers.

Use the code 2FORWUN at ticketek.com.au to get two-for-one tickets or a family pass for just $20. Kids that are Liberty Pass members can also get free entry to this men’s game using their Liberty Pass.
