A letter from Western United Executive Chairman Jason Sourasis
Dear Western United family,
Well, here we are. I’m sure you are all as excited as I am for our first ever Isuzu UTE A-League Men game at the Regional Football Facility in Tarneit.
If you haven’t already, make sure you lock in your ticket to the game and bring in your family and friends to get behind the Green and Black alongside you. Together, we will make this day remarkable.
It’s that word, together, that has come to mind the most amongst all of the thoughts and emotions surrounding our move home to Tarneit.
What has been so telling about us moving home in the West is the people and the community that we are so lucky to call home.
We always knew that we were part of an incredible family here in the West, but now that we get to be here and embed ourselves in our heartland, we have seen first-hand the hard-working, nurturing and aspirational people that we will represent each and every day.
The people make this Club so special, and I want to take this opportunity to thank you all for the part you have played on this journey.
While we celebrate this milestone as we did the first women’s game in March, we know that this is really only the beginning.
We will continue to grow and develop our home and make it the best place to watch sport in the country, and we will do that together as one Green and Black family.
I simply can’t wait to see, hear and feel everyone’s passion in Tarneit today. Everything is in place, and now the last thing to do is to come together and have the most incredible and enjoyable day in the West.
Forever West
Jason Sourasis
