Western United can provide an update on the injury status of right-back Khoder Kaddour.
The 20-year-old suffered a knee injury in the first half of Tuesday night’s Isuzu UTE A-League Men clash against Adelaide United and was assisted from the field of play in the 26th minute.
Scans have confirmed the devastating news that Kaddour has ruptured the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee.
The youngster will undergo surgery to repair the injury, following which he will begin his rehabilitation.
Kaddour has enjoyed a breakout year in 2024, making his Isuzu UTE A-League debut in February and taking his appearance total to five on Tuesday night.
Everyone at Western United will be behind Khoder during his recovery and looks forward to seeing him back on the pitch as soon as possible.
