Western United will take steps towards growing its digital footprint through partnering with JFT Esports for the remainder of the 2024-25 A-Leagues season as the Club’s newest esports partner.
The partnership will see Western United and JFT collaborating online and in real life with content that surrounds football. JFT will also be providing Western United with two players for the 2025 E-League, including Anthony Saad who has represented the Club for the past two years.
Western United and JFT hope to continue growing football in Australia through this partnership which can bring JFT fans to Western United games, and United fans supporting the JFT team through their content. Green and Black fans can look out for some exclusive giveaways and content throughout the season.
Nathan Perrone, Commercial Partnerships & Operations Executive said:
“The Club is always looking for ways to be innovative and grow our audiences, and this partnership with JFT Esports is a prime example of that.
“The partnership allows us to continue developing our younger audience and maintain our relationship with Anthony Saad who will continue representing the club in the E-League.”
Jay Taylor, Founder of JFT Esports said:
“JFT has been and always will be about community and creating new pathways. That’s what will make this partnership work so well, two organisations with the same goals and aspirations.
“Sharing the two organisations’ influence in their own industry will hopefully bring both audiences together. Showing the importance of football for boys and girls in Australia, while using the digital and online space that is forever growing to reach new audiences. We are looking forward to the partnership.”
