Inaugural Wyndham Health Festival set for Ironbark Fields

Western United is proud to be the host of the inaugural Wyndham Health Festival, an inspiring new initiative by the Wyndham Health Foundation that puts community health and wellbeing in the spotlight.

Set to take place at our home, Ironbark Fields, the Wyndham Health Festival is more than just an event – it’s a movement for better health, stronger communities, and early detection that saves lives.

This year, the festival hopes to raise $85,000 to fund lung function testing equipment for Werribee Mercy Hospital—a vital step forward with the launch of the National Lung Cancer Screening Program. Early detection is one of our strongest tools in the fight against lung cancer, and this equipment will help ensure that our local community has access to the testing and screening needed to catch illness early and improve outcomes.

A Day to Learn, Move and Connect

Held at Ironbark Fields, a venue built for community connection, the Wyndham Health Festival will bring together leading health experts, local organisations and hands-on experiences to help every attendee take positive steps on their health journey.

What’s on at the Festival:

  • Free health screenings
  • Wellness workshops
  • Group fitness sessions and classes
  • Kids’ corner with fun, healthy activities
  • Mindfulness and relaxation zones
  • Multicultural health resources
  • Expert panels and keynote speakers
  • And much more!

This inclusive and interactive event offers something for everyone – whether you’re after practical wellness tips, ways to support your family’s health, or a chance to connect with local health services.

Health Drives Everything – On and Off the Pitch

At Western United, we know that health is the foundation of performance – from our community programs right through to our A-League Men’s and Women’s teams. Our players train, recover and live with purpose, supported by expert staff and medical professionals who ensure they can be their best every time they step onto the pitch.

But elite performance starts in the community. That’s why Western United proudly supports events like the Wyndham Health Festival. By promoting better health for all, we’re building a stronger, more connected West – and that’s a win for everyone.
