Western United is continuing in its vision to positively impact the community in the West, welcoming Bemin Secondary College (BSC) as a Community School Partner.
Just a stone’s throw away from Ironbark Fields, BSC is situated right in Western United’s heartland and is one of many schools paving the way for the next generation of young leaders in the West.
Western United has already visited students at BSC, which only opened in 2024.
As a Community School Partner, the school will have the opportunity for exclusive Western United experiences as well as the ability to tap into the Club’s resources to support their curriculum and their mission in the community each day.
Western United General Manager Community Development & Partnerships Aylin Bagdadi said the Club aligned strongly with BSC’s vision and story so far.
“Through our conversations with the amazing team at Bemin Secondary College, we have seen so much similarity and alignment with our brands,” she said.
“Being such a new school and looking to help grow the community in the West, our partnership with BSC is a match made in heaven for us we cannot wait to continue working closely with them.
“As we continue to grow in our home at Ironbark Fields, we are proud to see new schools and organisations growing with us and we look forward to working together to better our community in the future.”
Anthony Asta, Assistant Principal – College Innovations and Organisation at Bemin College, added his excitement at working together with Western United to grow the community.
“As a new and fast-growing school in the heart of Truganina, we’re committed to building strong community connections that provide our students with the best possible support and opportunities,” he said.
“Formalising our partnership with Western United FC brings us one step closer to that vision and opens up exciting new pathways for our students to engage, learn and thrive.”
