Western United will travel interstate for the second consecutive week when it takes on Western Sydney Wanderers this Friday night at BankWest.
It will be the third meeting between the two sides.
They clashed for the first time in an October pre-season friendly, before meeting again in Round 5.
The pre-season hit-out saw United play at GMHBA Stadium for the first time.
Scott McDonald opened the scoring inside two minutes, finishing a well-constructed team move.
The Wanderers found the equalizer 10 minutes from time through youngster Mo Adam, as they rescued a draw.
And in November on a cool Saturday night in Geelong, the two sides met officially in the A-League for the first time.
Mitch Duke got the Wanderers off to a flying start, opening the scoring inside five minutes with a well-taken goal.
The Green and Black responded almost immediately as Andrew Durante headed past Daniel Lopar to level the scores.
Former Wanderer Kwabena Appiah-Kubi, in his first start for United, netted the winner in the second half with a sublime first touch and finish.
The brand-new Bankwest Stadium will play host to Friday night’s game.
United are looking for their third consecutive win after defeating the Victory and Roar.
Meanwhile, Markus Babbel and the Wanderers hope to break a five-game losing streak.
Another fabulous occasion awaits as the Red and Black host the Green and Black in one of the great new venues in the A-League.
