Western United’s Andrew Durante features in the round 17 A-League Team of the Week for his classy performance in the 0-0 draw with Newcastle Jets on Saturday.
In sweltering conditions, “Dura” was defensively superb throughout, helping his side to a clean sheet on the road.
The 329-game defender’s performance can be summed up by a potentially goal-saving tackle in the first half.
Newcastle’s Dimi Petratos appeared to be through on goal before Durante put in a beautifully timed challenge to avert the danger.
