Ballarat is the place to be this Sunday for Western United’s clash with Brisbane Roar at Mars Stadium.
Here’s everything you need to know to make your day as smooth as possible.
Transport
If you’re traveling from Melbourne, catching a V-Line train is an efficient way of getting to the game.
Before the match:
Fans can catch the following services from Southern Cross Station:
- 12:16pm
- 1:16pm
- 2:16pm
The journey to Ballarat Station is approximately 1 hour 28 minutes.
After the match:
To get home fans can catch the following services from Ballarat Station:
- 6:16pm
- 7:18pm
The journey to Southern Cross is approximately 1 hour 29 minutes.

Parking
It is recommended that drivers use the hundreds of parking spaces available at C.E Brown Reserve and surrounding ovals.
These parking spaces can be accessed from Dowling Street. Accessible parking will be available at the North Ballarat Sports Club which can be accessed via Creswick Road.
Angled parking will be available in Norman Street, and limited parking will also be available at the Ballarat Showgrounds (access via Creswick Road).
Membership
You can become a Western United member at the membership marquee outside Gate 1. Any membership enquires that need answering, staff will be there to help.
The membership marquee will close at half-time.
Merchandise
You can get your green and black merchandise inside Gate 1, or inside Gate 3 on the netball courts.
Activations
Activations will be inside Gate 3 on the netball courts, and include inflateable dartboard and target zone, face painter and the Meet the Players Marquee.
