Josh Risdon, Alessandro Diamanti, and Besart Berisha have been named in the Round 22 Hyundai A-League Team of the Week after Western United sparkled in Adelaide on Saturday, winning 5-1.
After last week’s thrilling 6-2 win over the Mariners, United showed they are peaking at the business end of the season.
The triangle of Risdon, Diamanti, and Berisha was a constant source of danger in the City of Churches.
Socceroo Risdon provided three assists at Coopers Stadium, taking him equal-top in the league with seven assists.
Joining him at the top of the assists chart is Alessandro Diamanti.
The Italian set up Connor Pain early in the second with a precise through ball to put United 4-1 up.

Earlier, “Alino” slotted home a classy first-half goal after the Reds were caught in transition.
Meanwhile, Besart Berisha made it a remarkable 21 goals in 25 games against the Reds after brace on Saturday – both goals classic “Bes”.
Berisha’s form sees him challenging for this season’s Golden Boot.
