Western United Football Club can confirm a second and third Isuzu Ute A-League Men’s player has tested positive for Covid-19
The two fully vaccinated people initially tested negative to a PCR test on Wednesday, however returned a positive result to a Rapid Antigen Test and subsequent PCR test on Thursday and Friday respectively.
All Western United football staff and the playing group have undergone a second round of PCR testing on Thursday and have all received negative results.
The match against Adelaide United on Friday night at AAMI Park will go ahead as planned.
