Alessandro Diamanti’s superb strike against Melbourne Victory has been voted by fans as their favourite Western United goal across the club’s first four rounds in the Hyundai A-League.
Last Saturday night, United found themselves down two goals down inside seven minutes before the Italian star smashed a loose ball home and brought it back to 2-1.
It was Diamanti’s first goal for the Green and Black in the A-League, showing what the marquee man is capable of as United stormed back into a riveting contest at Marvel.

The former Azzurri, West Ham and Bologna star was then able to rally his side to a famous comeback win.
Diamanti’s strike just edged out Panagiotis Kone’s brilliant effort against Perth in Round 2.
Scott McDonald’s deft winning goal against the Victory also polled strongly.
