To mark the beginning of the A-League season and to celebrate the club’s 2021/22 memberships on sale, the two organisations partnered to offer almost thirty new parents and their bundle of joy a WUFC baby membership.

Head coach John Aloisi, Olympians Lachlan Wales and Dylan Pierias and experienced A-League stars Ryan Scott and Ben Garuccio also sent messages of congratulations to the new parents.

Western United Chairman Jason Sourasis expressed his congratulations and welcomed the newest members to United.

“As a father to two girls under the age of three, I know the joy that the birth of a baby brings. I would like to congratulate the new parents and wish them and their babies all the best.

“Our mission at Western United is for every baby born in the west to be born into the green and black. I’m very passionate about geographical tribalism and the togetherness that being part of a football club brings.

“As we start the new season, I want to put the call out to everyone in the west to jump on board the green and black and come with us as we build the future of Australian football.”

Thousands of loyal green and black fans have already renewed their memberships for the season that kicks off with a bang on November 20.

Western United will take on Melbourne Victory at GMHBA Stadium in Geelong for its first home game of the season. Crowds for the match are expected to be at a 5,000 person capacity, with the game to be one of the first live sporting matches to host a crowd outside of the Spring Carnival.

Memberships on offer include Platinum, Premium, General and Active Membership as well as a new 7 Game membership.

For the first time, each of these membership categories will include a complementary 12-month Paramount+ subscription to ensure you don’t miss a single minute of the action, home or away.

Memberships are now on sale for the 2021/22 Isuzu A-League Men season. Read more through the membership portal here.
