Max Burgess’s stunning 19-minute hat-trick has not gone unnoticed around the world with the Western United attacking midfielder joining some of the world’s biggest names in the latest EA SPORTS FIFA team of the week.
Burgess, 25, was the headline-maker after the Green and Black’s 6-2 win over Central Coast on Sunday.
And now he joins the likes of Brazilian maestro Philippe Coutinho from Bayern Munich and Chelsea’s attacking full-back Marco Alonso in the global squad.
The Fifa 20 TOTW is a squad of 23 players from across the globe who have stood out in the most recent round of real-life fixtures.

Coutinho, formerly of Liverpool and Barcelona, rated the highest at 89 after the German side’s controversial 6-0 win over Hoffenheim.
This is a feather in the cap for the A-League and first-year club Western United.
