Chloe Logarzo has been included in Tony Gustavsson’s CommBank Matildas squad for a pair of upcoming friendlies on home soil.

This marks Logarzo’s third consecutive call-up to Matildas camp since making her return from an ACL injury as she eyes a spot in the squad for next year’s home FIFA Women’s World Cup.

The midfielder came off the bench in a 4-1 win over South Africa in London last month for her first on-pitch minutes since suffering the injury 13 months prior.

Western United fans will have the opportunity to watch Logarzo in action on home soil as the Matildas prepare to play in Melbourne for the first time since March 2019.

The side will host European powerhouse Sweden at AAMI Park on Saturday November 12, with kick-off at 2:45pm.

Following that match, the team will then quickly travel across the border into New South Wales before taking on Thailand at Central Coast Stadium for a 7:30pm kick-off on Tuesday November 15.

The camp continues an extremely busy period of football for Logarzo, who will arrive straight from the United States after her Kansas City Current side reached the NWSL Championship, falling just short against Portland Thorns.

Immediately after the Matildas camp, Logarzo will have a matter of days to unite with her new Western United teammates ahead of the blockbuster Liberty A-League Women opener against Melbourne Victory.

The historic occasion at City Vista Pavilion and Sports Field will mark United’s first ever match in the competition with Logarzo set to shine in her return to domestic Australian football.
