It’s Westmas time, and all Western United fans will come together for a spectacular Christmas celebration on Friday evening.
At the Green and Black’s final home match of the year in the Liberty A-League Women against Perth Glory, the whole family can enjoy some Christmas-themed fun.
Christmas activities and football fun
The highlight is going to be the Western United Santa Photo station outside the ground, where families can come and meet Santa and take that special holiday photo.
The Caroline Springs Fire Station will be bringing along a fire truck* for the kids to jump inside, meet the firefighters and have some fun.
There will be football inflatables on the synthetic pitch giving kids and adults alike the chance to get competitive with each other, test out their football skills and tricks. One lucky member will also take centre stage to show their football prowess at half-time of the match with the 61 Design Kick to Win competition.
Face painting, amazing merch deals and an incredible Christmas raffle
A face painter will be set up to get everyone in the mood to cheer on the girls in green with the merchandise team also setting up in two locations to make City Vista glowing in Green and Black.
The Western United merch van will be set up outside the gate with all of the latest apparel including jerseys and the new range of tees and hoodies, while a special ‘nothing over $30’ discount selection will take shape inside the ground for those last-minute Christmas bargains.
That’s not everything that you could be taking home with you for Christmas, with an amazing Christmas raffle on offer with three incredible prizes.
Fans can purchase raffle tickets inside and outside of the ground to be in with a chance of winning the three prizes – a framed Western United purple goalkeeper jersey signed by Hillary Beall, Alyssa Dall’Oste and Natalie Picak, a $300 Asics voucher, and a gift bundle including a Yarraville Fresh Market fruit box and a $100 2XU voucher.
Give back to the community with Lifeline Western Melbourne
As Christmas is the time of giving and the time to come together in the community, Western United will also pair with Lifeline Western Melbourne to put on a delicious sausage sizzle at the game, with all proceeds going to support Lifeline’s work in mental health support in the West.
It’s a special time of year and we can all come together as a Western United family to be part of the Christmas cheer, have some family fun and give back to the community all at once.
We can’t wait to celebrate Christmas and be together with our Green and Black family on Friday.
