How to get to the home opener in Tarneit on Sunday

We’ve planned some great options for getting you there.

Park at the Match
With over 1500 spots, parking at the match is a great option.  The road into the facility has been freshly sealed, no dirt roads required to get to the parking lot. Members and fans can park in the public car park (see map below).

Travel Tip
Grab your favourite westies and car pool to the match, not only does it help keep the traffic down but it’s way more fun to go to the game together!

Take the Shuttle
Travel by V-Line or car to Tarneit Station or a Metro train or car to Werribee Station and take the WU Shuttle to the match. The shuttle will leave from Werribee Station every 35 minutes and Tarneit every 20 minutes two hours before the match between 2pm and 4pm.

Travel Tip
Go early to Werribee Station and have lunch down Watton Street, some great pubs including The Park Hotel and The Bridge Hotel as well as some top cafes including Notorious Espresso and Tuckers Sandwiches.

Drop Off Zone
Grab a lift to the game! An allocated pick-up and drop-off designated location will be available for fans on matchdays, located close to the entry gates.  This can be used for taxi, ride share and personal car services.

On Your Bike!
A great way to get to the game is on your bike, we have secure bike parking located near Gate 1.

WUFC Pre-Match Fan Zone
Arrive early and relax in our Fan Zone, loads of fun for the whole family!  Located on Pitch 3, we will have football inflatables, face painting and loads more fun for the family.  Food trucks also available for this area. Times: Midday – 4PM

Food and Drink
For this first match, we will have food and non-alcoholic beverages available in the forecourt of the facility. This will be available from midday through until the end of the match.

General Admission Standing Areas
For this match only, the Grandstand won’t be available for seating as it is still being prepared for safe and enjoyable use on match days. We anticipate it will be ready for the next match at the Regional Football Facility. General admission tickets can watch the match around the perimeter of the pitch in front of the Grandstand, behind the goals and in the forecourt near the entrance to the Pavilion.

WU Merchandise
Our WUFC Van will be set up on the forecourt with loads of green and black items to purchase.  New to this match, an exclusive Western Core x Western Service Crew tee, to celebrate our home opening matches for women and men!
