Western United keeper Filip Kurto was in stellar form last Friday night, saving shot after shot in a frenetic clash against Phoenix in wintry Wellington.
The Pole made seven saves at Sky Stadium, including a quick-reflex stop to keep out Wellington’s David Ball from opening the scoring (see below).
His display garnered him a spot in the Round 20 Hyundai A-League Team of the Week for his performance.
The competition’s reigning Goalkeeper of the Year pulled of a number of stunning saves against his former side in United’s 2-0 loss to the Phoenix.
