Fixture update: Western United set for first home game at AAMI Park

AAMI Park

Western United can confirm a date change for its upcoming clash with rival Melbourne Victory.

The match, which was originally scheduled for Saturday, 20 February, will now be played on Saturday, 30 January.

It is a United home match, making it the Club’s first-ever home fixture at AAMI Park.

Western United CEO, Chris Pehlivanis said the Club is excited to be playing its first home game at the venue against its Victorian rival.

“The club continues to remain nimble as the A-League fixture changes due to Covid-19 outbreaks and border restrictions within Australia,” Pehlivanis said.

“We are really excited for our first home game at AAMI Park against our cross-town rival Melbourne Victory.

“We have had some memorable battles with them last season and Saturday, January 30 will be no different.

“We know we are still the new team in this town, and so I would encourage all of our fans to come to the game and show their support.”

Tickets for the match will be available on Ticketek soon.
