Get involved in loads of Western United fun these school holidays

The next school holidays are fast approaching and they are the perfect time to get the kids involved in some Western United football fun. 

Across the two weeks, there are loads of activities that the whole family can enjoy, getting outside, staying active and meeting the Western United footballers out and about in the West.

It’s going to be WU-mazing!

Here’s what’s on:

WUFC Academy Development Centres 

Our WUFC Academy Development Centre is hosting five football intensive camps at Ironbark Fields and Pavilion these school holidays. 

These camps are designed as an additional training program for players aged 9-13 with the opportunity for our club to work with young players from the west.

The United Football Program

The United Football Program school holiday camps are taking place at seven community clubs in the West over the holiday period.

The program enhances your football skills in a dynamic and engaging environment, allowing you to love playing the game and meet new friends.

Winter Street Party 

We’re back on Watton Street this winter for the annual Wyndham City Council Winter Street Party. 

Werribee City Centre will come alive on Friday 28th of June for an evening of wintery fun. Enjoy fire shows, street performers, interactive art installations, marshmallow toasting, live entertainment and most importantly our Western United activation area. 

Western United will have a range of offerings for the kids, free giveaways, interactive activities, our merchandise van and more.

Games Night at the Youth Resource Centre

Join us with Wyndham City Council for a free games night in Hoppers Crossing.

There will be a range of games and activities for all with some of our A-League Men squad in attendance for photos, questions or a game of FIFA (EA Sports FC).

Firefly Night Market

This winter, join us once again in Tarneit for the Firefly Night Market hosted by Wyndham City Council on the 6th of July. 

With more than 70 market stalls to explore and a vibrant lineup of entertainment to take to the stage, there is something for all ages. 

We’ll have a variety of activities for the kids, free giveaways, interactive experiences, our merchandise van, and more.
