Western United head coach Mark Rudan has told sports radio station 1116 SEN that playing at VU Whitten Oval last Sunday was part of the club’s continuing goal to unite Victoria’s west.
“Right from the outset our job was to try and grow the game,” Rudan told SEN’s Dwayne Russell on the program “Dwayne’s World”.
“I think it was an important move [playing at VU Whitten Oval]. We wanted to unite the West.”
