It all started some 10 years ago when Sourasis struck up a relationship with AFL champion Scott Pendlebury as the owner of Hemisphere Management Group.

Western United Executive Chairman and Collingwood champion Scott Pendlebury have joined forces in the sporting arena and in business

Mentoring and working with the Collingwood star over a number of years, Sourasis and his team created The Pendlebury wine in 2018, followed by The Moore with Pendlebury’s teammate Darcy Moore and The Cripps with Carlton star and two-time Brownlow Medallist Patrick Cripps.

The next step was to expand into international business with the godfather of 21st century football management.

A winner of 26 major club honours including two UEFA Champions League Crowns, three Premier League titles and two Serie A titles, Mourinho has done it all as a manager across stints at some of the most recognisable clubs in the world including Real Madrid, Chelsea, Inter Milan and Manchester United.

Jose Mourinho is one of the most iconic figures in modern football

His iconic celebrations, quotes and tactics have become synonymous with the modern game, while on the pitch he has helped shape some of this generation’s best talent – Cristiano Ronaldo, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Frank Lampard and many more.

Mourinho was the perfect fit for Hemisphere’s latest wine venture given his prestige in the game, his familiarity off the pitch and his love and knowledge of wine, particularly in some of the best wine regions in the world in his native Portugal.
