Western United has the best crossing accuracy stats from open play in the Hyundai A-League.
The stats gurus at Opta tell us it’s 29.3%.
The Green and Black have shown how threatening they can be when they pick out their teammates with a cross this season.
In fact, crosses have led to United’s last six goals in the competition.
Round 9 against Melbourne Victory saw all three of United’s goals come from crosses.
The following week saw Aaron Calver pick out Besart Berisha to make it 2-0 against the Roar.
And in round 11, Calver received good karma. The star defender got on the end of a pin-point Connor Pain cross to level the scores against the Wanderers with just minutes left in regulation time.
