Western United is delighted to have reached a major milestone with over 1,000 young football fans registering for a Liberty Pass as a fan of the Green and Black.

The significant increase in Liberty Pass registrations for this year is testament to the strength of support in women’s football in Australia, and indeed the success of Western United’s Liberty A-League Women outfit.

Additionally, Western United has extended this offering to Isuzu UTE A-League Men matches so far this season and will continue this for the Round 11 clash against Melbourne City on Sunday 7 January, which was today locked in for AAMI Park.

Allowing all kids aged 16 and under to watch every Liberty A-League match for free, the Liberty Pass is the perfect way enjoy elite women’s football in 2024 – but registrations close on Sunday 31 December.

The fans have come down to support the Western United sides in full voice this season and there is so much more football to enjoy in 2024.

In fact, on top of the men’s match against Melbourne City, eight of United’s 12 matches in the new year are in Victoria. That’s at least nine games of football for completely free, watching the very best in Australian football in front of your very eyes.

Matildas legend Chloe Logarzo has sparkled in Green and Black alongside future stars Alana Cerne and Kahli Johnson and international icons Hannah Keane, Hillary Beall and Jaclyn Sawicki.

Daniel Penha has brought incredible excitement to John Aloisi’s men’s side with Lachie Wales, young gun Noah Botic and new midfield Angus Thurgate all performing well.

Green and Black fans will be able to watch a host of big-name stars go up against United following the turn of the year, including Matildas Lydia Williams and Tameka Yallop and Socceroos Mathew Leckie and Jamie Maclaren.

It has been a special 12-month period to be a young football fan in the west of Victoria with Western United’s men’s and women’s outfits to get behind and the boom of the Matildas and the FIFA Women’s World Cup in the middle of the year.
