All eyes were on Chloe Logarzo and on Western United last weekend as the Liberty A-League Women season got off to a flying start.
Logarzo made her return to club football after more than a year as Western United played its first ever game in the Liberty A-League, defeating Melbourne Victory 1-0 on an historic afternoon.
A-Leagues All Access will bring fans behind the scenes with an in-depth episode on United’s preparations for the match, Logarzo’s introduction to the team and the overall occasion as history unfolded in the West.
Launching at 7:30pm AEDT on Thursday night, fans will be brought inside the dressing room and into the life of Matildas star Logarzo upon her arrival in Victoria.
For 13 months, Logarzo has undergone rehabilitation for an ACL injury she sustained while playing for Australia, and last Saturday marked just her second appearance since the injury.
The 27-year-old goes in depth on her journey back to full fitness, the influence of her family and what drew her to sign for Western United in the inaugural season.
As she looks ahead to the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup on home soil, Logarzo reveals how she has “literally put my life on hold” to ensure she is ready to pull on the Green and Gold next July.
In addition to Logarzo’s story, the documentary also dives into the story of some of United’s international stars, with Jessica McDonald featuring after her goal-scoring performance.
Fans will also get to know more about Sydney Cummings, Hillary Beall, Hannah Keane and Young Matilda Kahli Johnson with an insight into how they spend their downtime in the team house.
Matchday saw the birth of the Western Core, Western United’s brand-new Liberty A-League active support, with the passion and dedication of their support also shining through.
This episode is not to be missed and it’s all set to revealed Thursday at 7:30pm AEDT on 10Play, Paramount+, KEEPUP and the KEEPUP YouTube channel.
