Mark Rudan announces Western United squad for historic first Hyundai A-League match

Western United Head Coach Mark Rudan has announced his squad for the club’s historic inaugural Hyundai A-League game on Sunday. 

The Green and Black will travel to New Zealand’s capital to face the Phoenix in a mouth-watering round 1 clash on Sunday afternoon.

International marquees Alessandro Diamanti and Panagiotis Kone have both been named.

Besart Berisha looks set to make his A-League return, also being named in the squad of 20.

Meanwhile, Andrew Durante, Max Burgess and Filip Kurto could all potentially face their former side when the teams line up at Westpac Stadium.

Young Luke Duzel is on international duty with the Joeys.
