Meet the A-League Men Champions in Melton including Alessandro Diamanti

Alessandro Diamanti Western United

Four of Western United’s star players will be ready to meet the Green and Black fans at Woodgrove Shopping Centre this Friday and Saturday as part of a new Western United fan activation that will be touring the West of Melbourne this Spring.

Italian superstar Alessandro Diamanti and brand-new signing Jacob Tratt will be at the centre on Friday September 2 from 3:45pm until 4:30pm, before Ryan Scott and Rhys Bozinovski arrive the following day from 3:00pm to 3:45pm.

The players will have the Isuzu UTE A-League Men Championship trophy in attendance with them on both days, so fans can get up close and personal with their Green and Black favourites and snap some photos with the silverware.

In addition to that, there will be a host of fun games and activations, a chance to win some great prizes and to chat with the Western United membership team about how you can join the Champions of the West.

Fans will be called upon to guess the contents of a mystery case of footballs for the chance to win some great prizes, while merchandise and Club membership will also be available on both days so supporters can get ready for the upcoming campaign.

With just over a month until the 2022/23 A-League Men season kicks off, Western United is relishing the opportunity to connect with its fans in the West during the off-season.

The Club’s fans in the West have shown a great deal of support in just the three years that United has been in operation, and the Club is eager to pay that back.

The squad members will be on hand to take pictures, sign autographs and help out with the various activities on offer, giving fans the chance to meet their heroes like never before.

Anyone in the Green and Black family is encouraged to come along and take part in the fun while rubbing shoulders with their favourite Western United players.

The Club’s activation site will be located on the Ground Level outside the Factorie store, so head down to meet the players and take in the Western United-themed fun.
