Over 150 postcodes are set to Bleed Green with Western United

Western United fans and members at Ironbark Fields in Tarneit

Western United is taking over the West with over 150 postcodes set to Bleed Green in the 2024/25 A-Leagues season.

With the Isuzu UTE A-League Men season opener little more than a month away, the Club has reached fans in over 150 postcodes in Victoria, stretching into South Australia, New South Wales, Queensland and Tasmania, and even to Yokohama in Japan.

While the Green and Black stretches far and wide, Western United remains truly the Club for the West with the most members coming right from the Club’s heartland – 3029 covering Tarneit, Truganina and Hoppers Crossing leads the way, 3030 in Point Cook and Werribee is pushing in second and 3024 ranks third, featuring Manor Lakes, Mount Cottrell and Wyndham Vale.

The likes of 3023, 3216 and 3340 are right behind and need a push to crack the top three in Western United support.

The support from all corners of the state and the country is felt at each matchday, and that is only going to be amplified tenfold at Ironbark Fields this season.

With this set to be Western United’s biggest ever season as we embark on a full campaign at our home in Tarneit, the excitement is being felt across the state.

Building on the first five matches in Tarneit across men’s and women’s competitions, there is going to be plenty more to come for the Green and Black family to enjoy in the new season.

The Isuzu UTE A-League Men squad is in full pre-season mode, integrating big new signings Hiroshi Ibusuki and Tate Russell alongside an array of young talents, headlined by Matthew Grimaldi, Abel Walatee and Jake Najdovski.

John Aloisi’s side will be attacking the season with a full head of steam, looking to return to the finals series and chase further success on the pitch.

Speaking of the finals, Kat Smith and her Liberty A-League Women side will be looking to reach the post-season and climb the mountain to the top of the competition in 2024/25.

After two straight finals campaigns, the girls in green will be back with a vengeance, led again by an all-star crew of young talents and experience stars.

If you haven’t locked in your membership yet, you’re risking missing out with limited availability filling up for the season.

Don’t stand still, join the movement and make sure you represent your postcode to show that your area is behind the Green and Black.
