Philhellene Provincial Greek Cuisine signs on for the 2024/25 A-Leagues Season

Western United is proud to announce Philhellene Provincial Greek Cuisine as a new Gold Partner for the 2024/25 A-Leagues season.

A multi-time winner of ‘Best Greek Restaurant’ in the Age Good Food Guide, Philhellene is the closest you will come in Melbourne to eating in a traditional Greek home with each meal made with love by Head Chef Spiros Kassidis and his team.

Located on Mt Alexander Road in Moonee Ponds, Philhellene is the place you will return to time and time again for more than just the food. The restaurant is also the perfect space for a special event be it an engagement, corporate function or christening.

Western United’s Commercial Sales Executive Manny Kappas welcomed Philhellene to the Club, noting the family and celebratory nature of their business.

“Philhellene is all about giving their customers an unforgettable experience which aligns with what we are doing at Ironbark Fields on a matchday or for other events and entertainment that we host.

“We’ve already had Philhellene prepare our Club BBQ lunches at Ironbark and the feedback on the friendly staff and delicious food has been amazing.

“We can’t wait to share the Philhellene experience with our fans and visitors to Ironbark this season.”

Philhellene owner Paul Chatzis is excited to be on board as a Gold Partner for the upcoming season.

“We love the passion, ambition and people at Western United and we look forward to partnering on football matches and other entertainment at Ironbark Fields.

“We want to share great food and good times with the people of the West.”

Philhellene will be catering at our corporate space at the Western United A-Leagues home opener at Ironbark Fields on Sunday 27 October. Tickets are now on sale at ticketek.con.au.

Western United partnership opportunities are still available ahead of the commencement of the 2024/25 A-Leagues season. For more information on how to be involved with Western United contact Manny.Kappas@wufc.com.au.
