Western United is drawing ever closer to the inaugural Western United Cup Geelong, with registrations now open for an incredible weekend of football.
Announced in December 2024, the Western United Cup Geelong will follow in the footsteps of the original Western United Cup, a girls-only tournament that the Club has staged three years running in Ballarat.
Last year, the Western United Cup shattered records with almost 100 teams participating, and this new tournament in Geelong is set to go to a whole new level.

Taking place from Friday 11 April to Sunday 13 April, the tournament will be held at Stead Park – the home of Geelong Soccer Club.
Differing from the Ballarat version, the Geelong tournament is open for boys and girls from Under 8’s to Under 13’s for an action-packed, fun-filled weekend of football and community atmosphere.
Registrations are $75 per player with a $100 team deposit and are sure to fill up quickly, so make sure you lock in your team as soon as possible to avoid missing out.
United will work closely with Football Geelong to deliver a special weekend of action for the community, with plenty more exciting announcements to come between now and kick-off in April.
Known for its rich history in Victorian and Australian football as a whole, the Geelong and Surf Coast region is home to some 20 junior clubs and has produced some legendary Socceroos, including Western United’s own Steve Horvat.
The Club has maintained a strong connection with the area since its very beginning, dating back to the first-ever home match at GMHBA Stadium in October 2019.
The bond is only growing stronger and this tournament will be the perfect way for United to engage with the Geelong community over the Term 1 school holidays.
Register your team today and get ready for a history-making inaugural Western United Cup Geelong.
