The 7-game membership offers fans an extensive list of benefits and inclusions, securing a seat at up to seven home matches throughout the entire season.

But the benefits aren’t only found in the stadia, and here are seven reasons why the 7-game membership is the way to go to support the Green and Black this season.

Free 12-month Paramount+ addition

The best offering included in Western United membership this season is the free 12-month subscription to Paramount+, eligible for adult and family 7-game memberships.

With Australian Professional Leagues striking a new broadcast deal with Channel 10 and ViacomCBS, Paramount+ will host every game of the A-League season live on their streaming platform.

The platform will also have access to a host of other great football content including all Socceroos and Matildas matches and the English FA Cup, as well as a list of great movies, TV shows and other sporting events such as the NBL and the Spring Racing Carnival.

This free inclusion is valued at $89.99 and will allow fans to catch up on Western United any time, anywhere as well as enjoying the plethora of great content on offer on Paramount+.

Most cost-effective membership

The 7-game membership is the most cost-effective membership category that still offers the free Paramount+ addition.

The General 7-game package is priced at $131, making it the cheapest adult category to include the subscription whilst also maintaining a number of the other key benefits that are consistent with even the highest levels of membership.

This comes to an average of less than $20 per match attended, with the value of Paramount+ added onto the cost effectiveness.

The Premium category comes to $184, averaging at around $26 per game. Other benefits also contribute to making these packages the best options available to support the Club in the stadium and at home for a great price.

Guaranteed seat for each of the seven matches

With COVID-19 still impacting communities, there are likely to be restrictions on major events that would impact attendance at football matches, particularly early on in the season.

Density limits are likely to be in place and would mean that priority for matchday tickets will immediately be granted towards members.

As such, a 7-game membership would guarantee a seat at each of the seven home matches of the members’ choosing.

This is the best way for fans to be able to attend matches, with no certainty that there would be access to tickets for games impacted by limits without possession of a membership.

Access to away matches in Melbourne

Particularly important at the beginning of the season, the Premium 7-game membership grants members access to one away match each against Melbourne City and Melbourne Victory.

With all six of Western United’s opening games of the season taking place in Melbourne, including away clashes against both Melbourne sides, this presents an opportunity for a feast of football between the season’s commencement and the new year.

United have had some classic games against both Melbourne rivals in the past, and voices in the away end can be just as crucial as the home support in helping the team to compete for the win on the pitch.

Merchandise vouchers

On top of all the value that exist already, each 7-game membership will also receive a merchandise voucher that can be redeemed in the online shop or at merchandise stands on game day.

As well as hearing the vocal support of the fans around the ground, seeing the Green and Black littered across the stands is a major motivator for the players on the pitch and a source of pride for the Club as a whole.

Membership vouchers will allow supporters to show their colours on matchday and while out in the community, making everyone know they are part of the strong Western United family.

Voucher values are the same for Premium and General 7-game memberships, with $50 for Adults, $25 for Concession and Junior memberships and Family memberships receiving a $100 voucher.

Watching live sport again

The COVID-19 pandemic has wreaked havoc on major events, with sporting matches around the world being played in front of empty stadiums, thousands of seats laying silent.

A Victoria prepares to move beyond its continued lockdowns and reopen major events, the A-League Men season will provider sports lovers with the first opportunity to return to arenas.

United will play four home games in the first six weeks of the season leading up to Christmas, and with away access to the other two matches as previously mentioned, live sport is set to return in Melbourne in a big way to kick off the summer.

Be part of the WUFC community

Becoming a Western United member comes with a wide range of benefits and bonuses off the pitch, bringing together all supporters in the Green and Black community.

With exciting times for the Club still to come, the future begins now at Western United and a 7-game membership will allow fans to be part of the journey ahead of time.

Not only is it about the football, but being part of the WUFC family means exclusive offers from club partners, member-only events and merchandise items bring members closer to the Club than anyone, making them feel part of a special community.
