Showcase your club at Western United October open training

Western United will host its first Isuzu UTE A-League Men open training session at Ironbark Fields on Thursday 3 October, with a special opportunity for you to be involved.

Not only will you get the chance to watch John Aloisi’s side at work and to meet all of the Green and Black stars after training, but you can also have the players repping your local club.

Western United is calling on the junior clubs of the West to submit a playing kit from their club which will be worn by a player during the training session.

Hiroshi Ibusuki, Ben Garuccio and co. will be showcasing all the clubs in the West and your club’s players can be there to see which player is kitted out for your club.

With the WE ARE WEST membership rewards program and other ongoing community initiatives, Western United continues to strengthen ties with junior clubs in the West and foster an inclusive and supportive community of clubs.

On the day, attending fans will be able to see the stars up close and personal and watch as the side ramps up its preparations for the 2024/25 season.

The pre-season period is marching on, and this session will come with barely more than two weeks to go until the opening round fixture against Wellington Phoenix.

All eyes will then be on the first home game of the season at Ironbark Fields the following week as Western United locks horns with Western Sydney Wanderers in a Sunday afternoon cracker.

Off the back of a strong 2-0 friendly win over Melbourne City on Saturday, the squad is continuing to develop and is gearing up for a huge season in Tarneit.

A young squad full of thrilling, dynamic young talents and top-class experience will have the fans off their seats at Ironbark Fields, and you can get a first taste at our open training session.

Get down to Ironbark Fields, come and have a chat with the Western United membership and merchandise teams and enjoy a spectacular morning in Tarneit.

Lock in your membership ahead of the day and get ready for a massive season. Together, we Bleed Green.

You can submit your junior club jersey, which will be returned after the session, to our Community Development Coordinator Adrian Cannatelli at adrian.cannatelli@wufc.com.au or 0431 694 794.
