Three Western United players feature in the round 15 A-League Team of the Week after the 3-0 win over the Central Coast Mariners.
Besart Berisha, Max Burgess and Connor Pain each represent the Green and Black in the side.
Berisha is no surprise. The in-form striker nabbed a brace in the win, including a stunning header to open the scoring.
It takes Berisha’s season tally to eight, including six in his last six games.
Max Burgess’s best performance of the season was rewarded with a place in the side.
A slightly different role allowed Burgess to get in advanced areas, where he provided the assist for the third goal. He found the pockets brilliantly and was incisive from the get-go.
And Connor Pain put in another top shift at wing-back.
The former Mariner caused his old side several problems on the left-hand side, including getting in behind to assist his side’s second goal.
