Tickets are now on sale for Western United’s first match in the FFA Cup proper, with a spot in the Round of 16 up for grabs when the Green and Black host Wellington Phoenix.
The match is set for Tuesday December 7, with a 7:30pm kick-off at GHMBA Stadium, the same venue where United booked its spot in this match with a win against Newcastle Jets.
After coming through the FFA Cup Play Offs in the competitions new format, United will hope to advance to the last 16 where a meeting with NPL Victoria side Avondale FC.
As was the case for the Jets game at the beginning of November, all Western United members will receive complimentary access to GMHBA Stadium for this game.
United’s fanbase has made a habit of showing up in Geelong in the past, and the Club is looking forward to as many members coming through the gates as possible to cheer the boys onto the next stage of the cup.
As well as complimentary member tickets, all adult tickets will cost just $10 and be situated in the Reg Hickey Lower Stand along the wing.
All kids under 12 years of age will once again go free to the match, with family passes of two adults and two kids for just $20.
This match will be the first of two in Geelong in the space of four days, providing the Club an opportunity to continue its strong partnership in the area and encouraging the fans to show their voices again.
