Western United will today dedicate the final round of the Isuzu UTE A-League Men regular season to the fans with Thank You Round at Ironbark Fields.
The Green and Black family will come together for a titanic clash on the pitch and a joyous celebration off it to cap what has been an historic and memorable 2024/25 campaign.
John Aloisi and the boys will be pushing for the chance to reach second place on the table with a win over Premiers Auckland FC and other results falling our way cementing a spot in the top two.
With four wins on the bounce at Ironbark, the boys are flying heading into the end of the season and have fought every week to represent the fans in the West.
To close out the season, the Club will say thank you to the Green and Black army in Tarneit, putting on a spectacular show at Ironbark Fields.
The highlight moment will be the kick on the pitch and the family photo after the game, the second occurrence of what will continue to be a yearly tradition to close the season.
Fans will be able to enter the footsteps of their heroes, having a run around on the hallowed turf and meeting their favourite superstars before posing for an amazing photo alongside the entire Western clan – players, coaches, members, staff and fans all together.
That will take the night out with a bang, but it’ll all kick off in style well before the first whistle with gates open at 5pm and a host of pre-match activities in store.
The synthetic pitch will come alive with games, challenges and activations to take part in and build the atmosphere towards the match.
The forecourt inside Gate 1 will host giveaways, posters and stickers for the fans to collect as well as a signing session with players and the famous Western United merchandise fan, featuring 20% off all jerseys to get you kitted out for the finals.
Speaking of kitted out, our good friends at Shearer’s Cupboard are returning for the third time this season, always a popular spot for fans to grab an iconic retro jersey to add to their collections.
The Western Kiosk and Bar will be open and serving all your Ironbark favourites, with food trucks also bumping in for delicious treats all night long.
That all sets up one of the biggest nights that our glorious home in Tarneit has ever held with incredible action on the pitch and a festival atmosphere in the stands.
