Two Western United stars have been selected in the round 11 A-League Team of the Week following Friday’s 1-1 draw with the Wanderers in Sydney.
Connor Pain features for the second consecutive week.
The in-form wing-back provided a delightful assist for Aaron Calver’s equalizer three minutes from the end of regulation time.
The inch-perfect cross came a week after scoring his first goal for the club.
Centre-back Brendan Hamill makes the side for the first time this season. Hamill was rock-solid in defence in just his second start for the Green and Black against a club he knows very well.
