The Liberty A-League Women Fantasy game is live, with Tyla Jay Vlajnic and Chloe Logarzo leading the way as Western United’s most expensive players.
The new game, which launched with the Isuzu UTE A-League Men version in October, allows friends to pit themselves against each other based on the real-life performances of the Liberty A-League stars.
Just as in the Isuzu UTE A-League version, players can register to compete in Liberty A-League Fantasy on the KeepUp website before selecting a team of 15 players – two goalkeepers, five defenders, five midfielders and three attackers.
Points are available for key contributions in the game including goals, assists, key passes and clean sheets, as well as more detailed actions such as dribbles and tackles completed.
Players can lose points in the game for having a negative impact for their team – bookings, own goals and giving away penalties all result in minus points.
A four-time Championship winner and two-time Premiership winner in the Liberty A-League, Vlajnic comes in as the most expensive player in the side at a price of $272,400.
Vlajnic is closely followed by Matildas star Logarzo, who will set players back $264,000 in the game, while superstar American striker Jessica McDonald has the third highest price tag of $234,500.
From there, United boasts a number of bargain options with only two more players over the $200,000 mark, being goalkeeper Hillary Beall and attacker Hannah Keane, with both American stars coming in at $209,000 in the game.
Philippines star Jaclyn Sawicki costs $192,000 while a spate of Green and Black players come in at a very affordable $165,300, including centre-back Sydney Cummings, twin sisters Melissa and Adriana Taranto and the Club’s inaugural signing, Alana Cerne.
Players can begin filling their teams ahead of the opening round of the new season, which sees Western United locked in for a huge clash against rivals Melbourne Victory.
Fans can also put their clairvoyance to the test in the Liberty A-League Tipping competition, with prizes up for grabs in both games come the end of the season.
