Western United A-League Women squad: Round 3 vs Adelaide United

Mark Torcaso Western United

Coming off back to back wins to begin the Liberty A-League Women season, Mark Torcaso has named his extended Western United squad ahead of the Round 3 trip to Adelaide United.

The team will make the journey across the border without Kahli Johnson after the young attacker picked up a minor knee injury during the week.

The No.10 started each of the opening two matches but will make way this week, allowing potential debutant Aimee Medwin to come into the extended list.

After joining the Club last week, Medwin comes into the 18-player squad for the first time and will be hopeful of adding to her solitary Liberty A-League appearance to date.

That is the only change to United’s squad from last week’s win over Wellington Phoenix as the side aims for a third straight win.

Hannah Keane and Jessica McDonald lead the side with two goals each so far and will be eager to get on the scoresheet again, while Chloe Logarzo and Jaclyn Sawicki will continue to build minutes in midfield.

Harriet Withers remains absent as she continues her recovery from an ankle injury.
