Western United’s extended squad has been confirmed for Saturday evening’s top of the table Liberty A-League Women blockbuster against Melbourne City.
Mark Torcaso will welcome back Kahli Johnson into the mix with the young attacker completing her recovery from a minor knee issue.
The bye allowed Johnson to miss only one match and take the extra week to ensure her fitness for this match.
Tyla Jay Vlajnic will line up against her former side having played 55 times for Melbourne City, while Aimee Medwin could also feature against the club where she debuted in the Liberty A-League three years ago.
Chloe Logarzo will move to 90 appearances in the competition if she takes to the pitch as she continues to increase her match minutes.
American striking duo Hannah Keane and Jessica McDonald were dominant in a pre-season friendly against City and will hope to back it up in competitive action this weekend.
The fixture will see the league’s only two remaining perfect records go head to head, setting up a tantalising spectacle at AAMI Park.
