Mark Torcaso has named an unchanged extended squad ahead of Western United’s return to Liberty A-League Women action against Perth Glory on New Year’s Day.
Come kick off at Macedonia Park, the team will have gone 15 days without a competitive match and the squad is raring to go to continue its stellar form at the beginning of the season.
The break has allowed Stacey Papadopoulos to continue her recovery from concussion in the match against Adelaide United, with the full-back returning to contention for this contest.
Hannah Keane went off at half-time of the win against Melbourne City two weeks ago with a knock to her ankle, but the American attacker has recovered well and will be eager to add to her goal tally in Western Australia.
Two weeks of training have added to the competition for places with the likes of Chloe Logarzo and Natasha Dakic pushing for their first starts of the season.
Captain Jaclyn Sawicki continues to manage a knee injury and Harriet Withers remains on the sidelines with an ankle problem.
United will be out to make it five wins from five against the Glory, with the chance to return to the top of the table.
