Western United A-League Women Squad: Semi-Final vs Sydney FC

Emma Robers Western United

Western United’s first ever Liberty A-League Women Finals extended squad is in with a big boost to the side’s midfield ahead of the Semi-Final against Sydney FC.

Emma Robers is back in contention after missing the final match of the regular season against Western Sydney Wanderers with a knock to her ankle.

United’s No.11 played every match up until that point has been a crucial figure in the middle of the park for the Green and Black.

Her return will be greatly welcomed alongside Jaclyn Sawicki and the Taranto sisters, while Chloe Logarzo has also been named in the extended squad for the first time since her return to the Club.

The star midfielder is continuing to build her fitness since arriving back from the United States and United will give her every opportunity to prove her preparedness for the clash.

Logarzo is increasing her workload and will have a strong influence on the side as it navigates the Liberty A-League Finals Series with her experience, leadership and quality.

The remainder of Western United’s squad is fit to play and will be vying for positions in the matchday squad with strong competition heading into this all-important month of football.

Aimee Medwin and Harriet Withers remain the only United players on the long-term injury list as they continue their respective recoveries.
