Western United can confirm an update to its A-Leagues fixtures in early March as the Club nears its move to Tarneit.
Last week, the Club and Wyndham City Council announced the first match at the Regional Football Facility was earmarked as the Liberty A-League Women Round 20 clash against Newcastle Jets on Sunday 17 March.

Before that, there are three home matches across the Liberty A-League and Isuzu UTE A-League Men which will see the Club return to two key venues for a send-off in 2024.
It begins on Friday 1 March as the Western United women look to continue their stunning run of form when Canberra United come to City Vista Pavilion and Sports Field. Due to changing light conditions in relation to the weather, kick-off for this match is set for 4:30pm AEDT.
It’s the perfect way to finish off your week and for the kids to kickstart the weekend after the end of school, getting behind the girls in green who will go in search of a sixth straight victory.
That kicks off a massive weekend of football for Western United with the Isuzu UTE A-League side set to return to Ballarat the next day on Saturday 2 March.
A 5pm kick-off is set for the clash at Mars Stadium, giving Western United the chance to thank the fans in Ballarat who have been behind the Club since the very first season.
Western United will then pencil in a rematch with Melbourne Victory for Thursday 14 March, kicking off at 7pm AEDT at AAMI Park.
After Tuesday night’s heart-breaking defeat, the Green and Black faithful will be relishing the opportunity to face its crosstown rivals again.
Those dates would then lead the Club into its intended Tarneit opener on 17 March, an event that will mark an historic moment for Western United, for the A-Leagues and for Australian football.
Work is well underway since last week’s announcement to ensure a special matchday experience for fans to take part in.
Further announcements will be made shortly around remaining Isuzu UTE A-League home matches, including the first game in Tarneit for John Aloisi’s side.
