Western United ALW Squad: Round 20 vs Western Sydney Wanderers

Western United A-League Women

Mark Torcaso has named his final extended squad for the 2022/23 Liberty A-League Women regular season as Western United plays host to Western Sydney Wanderers on Saturday afternoon.

Chloe Logarzo is not included in the 18-player list for the match as she arrives back at Western United this week.

The Matildas star will look to build her fitness in training ahead of the Finals Series where she will look to play a part and help guide the Green and Black towards silverware.

Torcaso will also be unable to call upon Emma Robers for the clash against the Wanderers, with the No.11 set to sit out due to the ankle injury she sustained in last week’s defeat to Canberra United.

In positive news for United, the injury is not severe and Robers will also be looking to get herself ready for the Finals opener in two weeks’ time.

Torcaso has otherwise been able to name an unchanged extended squad for the clash, with only Aimee Medwin and Harriet Withers remaining sidelined with injuries.

Four United players – Hannah Keane, Adriana Taranto, Sydney Cummings and Hillary Beall – will be looking to feature again to ensure they appear in every match for the regular season.

Cummings is yet to miss a single minute of action having been a mainstay at the back, and she will be eager to complete her 1,620th minute of the campaign this weekend.
