Western United are set to take on Western Sydney Wanderers in a highly anticipated Hyundai A-League clash at GMHBA Stadium on Saturday night.

Mark Rudan’s side is coming off a stunning comeback win over Melbourne Victory last Saturday night.

United trailed 2-0 after seven minutes before fighting back to win a 3-2 thriller at Marvel Stadium.

Captain Alessandro Diamanti scored his first goal for the Green and Black with a superb half volley.

The Italian star has shown his worth this season, creating the fifth-most amount of chances in the competition with 10.

Meanwhile, Wanderers remain undefeated.

Markus Babbel’s side has picked up 10 points from a possible 12 and sit in second place.
