Expression of Interest is now open for the boys’ Western United Development Centre program in Newport.
The Boys Development Centre saw a significant promotion rate into Western United’s Junior Academy teams for 2024, making this program the true first step to joining the Green and Black.
Since the birth of the Development Centre, we have successfully completely term one and two, starting at our Regional Football Facility in Tarneit and expanding to Brunswick and now Newport for boys.
We are very excited to announce the expansion of the boys’ Western United Development Centre program in Newport.
We are offering a 6-week program at Newport Storm Football Club commencing on Thursday 30 May, with trials occurring on Thursday 23 May.
The Development Centre program will consist of five training sessions and one gala event at the conclusion of the program. Training sessions will consist of skills, drills and professional coaching from Western United coaching staff, while the gala event will be a one-day competition style day putting the boys’ skills to the test. 2013/2014 born players: 5:30pm-6:30pm
2011/2012 born players: 6:45pm-7:45pm
