One family of five cannot wait for Western United’s inaugural season to begin, buying a home kit each at today’s (Saturday) friendly in Geelong.
Their passion was on display at the club’s merchandise stand at GMHBA Stadium, splashing out on five Kappa designed home kits.
The Geelong locals who have just been introduced to the game are keen to see what lies ahead for the Green and Black.
“We’re excited to learn about the game. We’re new to soccer so it’s pretty exciting,” the family told wufc.com.au
“We’re excited that there was a local team in Geelong and our oldest son Jobe is a goalkeeper and loves [Filip] Kurto.”
You can get your Western United kit and other merchandise at the club’s pop-up store, located at 203-215 Palmers Road, Truganina, 3029.
Or, you can get kitted out at any of the club’s home games across Geelong and Ballarat and at Rebel Stores across the West.
